Quota vs. Tokens: How Billing Works
QCode.cc subscriptions are billed by 'daily quota (USD)', not directly by token count.
Daily Quota
The daily spending cap in USD. For example, '$35/day' means total token consumption that day, converted to USD, cannot exceed $35. When exhausted, requests are throttled until the 2am reset.
Token Consumption
Each API call consumes tokens (input + output + cache), converted to USD at model rates, accumulated against your daily quota.
Billing Formula
With Sonnet 4.6, $1 processes approximately 0.37M allTokens (including cache hits) in practice.
4-Hour Sliding Window: Rate Protection
The '4h window limit' is commonly misunderstood — it's not a 4-hour daily usage time limit.
Misconception
'You can only use it 4 hours a day, then it cuts out' — This is incorrect.
How It Actually Works
Cumulative spending within any rolling 4-hour period cannot exceed the window cap. The window slides forward continuously, not tied to fixed time slots. Available 24/7.
Example: 4h window cap $15. You spend $15 from 10am-2pm → from 2:01pm the window starts releasing, gradually unlocking more quota. Purchase a booster pack to expand the window cap for higher throughput.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is QCode.cc an official Claude Code subscription?
No. QCode.cc is an independent API relay service providing Claude model access through the Anthropic API. Billing is based on LiteLLM benchmark rates (1:1, no markup), but it's not an official Anthropic product.
Is billing monthly or per-use?
Monthly. Plans activate immediately upon purchase and are valid for 30 days. The daily quota resets at 2am Beijing time each day. Unused daily quota does not roll over.
Can I upgrade my plan mid-subscription?
Yes. Purchase a new plan from Dashboard → My Subscription at any time. The new plan activates immediately, and remaining time from the old plan can be stacked. We recommend upgrading before the current plan expires to avoid interruption.
Does sharing an API Key among multiple people affect the quota?
Yes. The daily quota applies per API Key. If multiple people share one key, all consumption counts against the same quota. For teams, we recommend purchasing separate plans and configuring individual keys, or contact us about enterprise plans.
What payment methods are accepted?
Alipay and WeChat Pay. No foreign credit card required. Enterprise users can contact support for bank transfer and VAT invoice options.
Do I need to reconfigure after migrating from NewAPI?
Yes, you'll need to update ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to the QCode.cc endpoint and replace your API Key. QCode.cc provides a fully Anthropic-compatible API interface, so no code changes are needed — just update the endpoint URL and key.
